Study of the Bird this week. I went out and spent an obscene amount of money ($50) on supplies for a project we're going to do tomorrow (or maybe Wednesday). Using Styrofoam shapes and air-dry clay, we're going to make model birds and label the parts! I made mine, and it turned out alright. It's not Kati-quality, but I feel good about it. I think it will be fun.
Kati's going to do a lesson on wetlands on Tuesday, and if we're not making bird models on Wednesday we're going to do something with feathers. Tomorrow, of course, is the bird KE. Thursday we'll do something connecting birds to ancient Egypt - all those bird-headed gods and such. Friday is an early-out day. We're doing a read-a-thon pajama day. Hooray for reading!
In language studies I'm going to try to get to all the things I meant to get to last week but didn't. Should be fun.
