NOVEMBER?!

Yeah, and today's faculty meeting had me feeling like a crappy, crappy teacher. Lois distributed this paper titled, "The Walden Decalogue." Of the five "Thou Shalt Not" items listed, I do at least three on a regular basis.

Thou Shalt Not:
1. Shame - yeah, I try not to do this, but sometimes . . . No, really. There's no excuse for this except that I'm a crappy teacher.

2. Shush - HAHAHAHA. Oh yeah, all day, every day. I'm all about the shush-ing. Do I suck?

3. Holler - . How *else* am I supposed to get everyone's attention when they're creating a holy cacophony? They're just so damn LOUD!

4. Use Sarcasm - Now they've gone TOO FAR. Sarcastic is just about my default setting. Again, crappy teacher.

5. Speak unkindly of anyone - I'm a terrible person.

There were also five "Thou Shalt Always", but I don't remember what they were. I had to crumple the paper up and throw it across the room b/c it made me feel like shit.

Lois said she wasn't trying to call anyone out specifically, but damn if she didn't hit the mark.

So which one do I tackle first? Sarcasm? Shaming? Shushing? Hollering? Holy horrible teacher, Batman, each one is worse than the last!

I don't know where to start.
